About Melanie Fox Emerson

Melanie is a Winter Park, FL native, living in Winter Park most of her life along with her husband, her 2 children and her step-son. She has a lifelong love of animals, mostly dogs and horses, with her first exposure to both at the age of 6. She has since worked in veterinary clinics, supply, grooming shops, and with several local trainers. She started training full time in 2004, was officially certified as a Dog Trainer in 2007, and now dedicates herself full time to helping people and their dogs develop great relationships.

Melanie is recognized as an evaluator by the AKC so she can provide training from puppyhood up through the Canine Good Citizen and beyond. Melanie's children Willow and Darian have been helping with the business and training their whole lives. She currently has 4 dogs, including a Great Dane, a Mini Goldendoodle, a Manchester Terrier mix, and a Dachshund/Yorkie, and one cat named Bella to rule them all. Michael Emerson and his son Gabe, have been helping since 2010.
